DistroPR Refund Policy

DistroPR provides PR distribution and media outreach services that rely on independent publishers, editorial processes, and third-party platforms.

All services are classified as digital services and are typically actioned shortly after purchase.

This policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, credits, and liability across all DistroPR services.

  1. Service Commitment

Once a service has been initiated, it is considered in progress and non-refundable.

A service is deemed initiated once any operational step has begun, including:

  • Editorial review
  • Content preparation
  • Distribution setup
  • Media outreach
  • Publisher engagement
  • Campaign scheduling

At this stage, resources have already been allocated and the service cannot be reversed.

  1. Cancellation Window

Orders may be cancelled within 60 minutes of purchase, provided no work has commenced.

Eligible cancellations will be refunded within 7 working days. After this window, or once a service has been initiated, the order becomes non-refundable.

  1. Client Responsibility

Clients are expected to provide required materials, approvals, and responses within a reasonable timeframe.

Where a delay occurs due to:

  • Missing information
  • Lack of response
  • Failure to meet submission requirements may result in the service lapsing.

Lapsed or inactive orders are considered forfeited and non-refundable.

  1. Delivery, Replacements, and Credits

DistroPR works with third-party publishers and platforms whose decisions are outside our direct control.

Where a placement cannot proceed due to:

  • Editorial rejection
  • Platform restrictions
  • Publisher policy changes
  • Availability or pricing shifts

DistroPR may, at its discretion:

  • Provide a comparable alternative
  • Reschedule distribution
  • Issue a service credit

These remedies are considered final and exclusive. Cash refunds are not provided in these scenarios.

  1. Non-Delivery Exception

A refund may only be considered where:

  • No service activity has been carried out within a reasonable timeframe
  • No alternative solution, rescheduling, or credit is viable

This applies strictly in cases where DistroPR has not delivered any part of the agreed service.

This does not apply where non-delivery is caused by:

  • Third-party editorial decisions
  • Publisher delays or rejections
  • Client-side delays or inaction

  1. Quality and Revisions

If there are concerns regarding content or execution, these must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.

Where appropriate, DistroPR may offer:

  • Revisions
  • Adjustments
  • Service credits

Outcomes such as media pickup, audience engagement, or commercial results are not guaranteed and do not qualify for refunds.

  1. Third-Party Dependency

DistroPR operates within an ecosystem of independent publishers and media platforms.

We do not control or guarantee:

  • Editorial decisions
  • Publication timelines
  • Acceptance rates
  • External platform policies

DistroPR is not liable for outcomes influenced by third-party actions.

  1. Partial Fulfillment

Where a service has been partially delivered or initiated, no refunds will be issued.

Any remaining value may be converted into a service credit, at DistroPR’s discretion.

  1. Limitation of Liability

DistroPR’s liability is limited strictly to the value of the service provided.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Missed opportunities
  • Loss of revenue or exposure
  • Reputational expectations

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or using DistroPR, you confirm that you:

  • Understand the nature of PR and media distribution services
  • Accept the role of third-party platforms in delivery
  • Agree to this Refund Policy

DistroPR may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
